Classic Lotus Car Sales

MK14 Components in partnership with Automotive Sportinge Heritage are excited to announce the start of our Classic Lotus Car Sales Services, as part of our expanded product offering utilising our extensive model knoweldge to bring a focused sales arena to prospective sellers and a reassurance of facts to prospective buyers.

For many years, we have seen our classic Lotus cars, and in particular the Lotus Elite Type 14's being under-represented in the market place and in many cases, sold by organsiations who do not know, or understand the cars which can lead to significant unease and risk to potential new owners.

In addition, and has been discussed on many of the relevant forums and socal media pages of late, when placed in auctions, the cars do not do themseves justice with again often, only light and brief discriptions being available to potential buyers and as we have moved to global coverage, the buyers cannot get to see the cars in person.  This is further highlighted by, the recent engagement for our inspection services which we offer for inspections of the Elites (and other models) on individual basis, a service which will remain in place.

Our aim, therefore, is to provide a knowledgeable seller & buyer market place, ensuring a true representation of facts regarding the car which can be backed up with relevant paperwork, or where not present, stating the facts as we see them allowing prospective buys to make informed decisions regarding prospective purchases.  This is especially important as the cars continue to age, as do we all, and some of the history becomes blurred or lost over time.  We work hard to fill in any relevant gaps and also, with the relevant club registrar's to again, ensure consistency of recognised information.

Our primary focus will be in the Lotus Elite Type 14's, but given the interchangeability in some areas and, with the experience of Auotmotive Sporting Heritage in the other classic Lotus models, we will consider to include these on a case by case basis. 

We will take on cars in any and all conditions, from Projects to Show stoppers and in the case of projects in particular, overhaul, rebuild and restoration service packages can be combined with the car purchase, at preferential rates.

For the Seller, we offer an outright contract, or would conduct a representation sale where ideally, the car is at our premises and so available for pre-arranged inspections.  In addition, a 130 point inspection report will be available, where relevant, to the most serious of enquiries.

If, as an owner of a car, you are considering to part company and pass your pride and joy onto a new custodian, please do get in touch as, as well as advertised cars, we often have propsective buyers looking for something specific and are happy to facilitate sales before reaching the open market.  Likewse for prospective buyers, if you are looking for something specific, please get in touch as we do have some people considering letting their car move on, but only to the right individual.
